Women looking to create a slimline silhouette have been advised on one trick of the trade by one of the world's most famous fashion designers.
Tom Ford has offered his insights into how to look amazing and suggested that a pair of Spanx could provide a simple option.
He explained to In Style that while some fuller-figured women feel the need to hide their curves, he thinks they should do everything they can to flaunt their shapes.
Standing in front of a mirror and making an honest assessment of how clothes look is one tip offered by the expert, while petit women should consider if the outfit they are wearing makes them look like they are cut in half.
However, he added: "Also, invest in Spanx! With a great undergarment, clothes will drape well."
Last month, Spanx looked to offer some support to the troops of the American army by sending a box of cotton compression undershirts to those currently posted in Afghanistan.
