The 1 Week Diet – The Egg Diet

The Egg Diet

We’ve had this diet sent in from a fan of Slimming Solutions. Jacqui had lost 3 dress sizes using our Slim Bomb Weight Loss Pill and couldn’t shift the last 6lbs to reach her goal weight.

A friend at work had followed the diet – with dramatic results – heres the lowdown and, thanks for the diet sheet Jacqui.

The basis of this diet is chemical and not quantities. It claims that you can lose a stone in a week if followed exactly.

Do not follow this diet for more than a week at a time.

Allowed Drinks: Black Coffee, Black Tea, Lemon Tea, Grapefruit Juice, Tonic Water, Soda Water and Tap Water (unlimited amounts)

Salad Consists Of: Lettuce, Tomato and Celery only.

Day 1

Breakfast:         1 Slice of Dry Toast and grilled Tomatoes

Lunch:                Any amount of fresh fruit

Dinner:                2 Hard Boiled Eggs, Salad and Grapefruit

 

Day 2

Breakfast:         Grapefruit and 1 Boiled Egg

Lunch:                Roast Chicken (any amount) and Tomatoes

Dinner:                Grilled Steak and Salad

 

Day 3

Breakfast:         Grapefruit and 1 Boiled Egg

Lunch:                2 Hard Boiled Eggs and Salad

Dinner:                2 Grilled Lamb Chops, Celery and Cucumber

 

Day 4

Breakfast:         1 Slice of Dry Toast and 2 Poached Eggs

Lunch:                Any amount of fresh fruit

Dinner:               2 Grilled Lamb Chops, Celery and Cucumber

 

Day 5

Breakfast:        1 Slice of Dry Toast and 2 Poached Eggs

Lunch:               2 Poached Eggs and Tomatoes

Dinner:               Fresh or Tinned Fish and Salad

 

Day 6

Breakfast:        1 Boiled Egg and 1 Glass of Grapefruit Juice

Lunch:               Any amount of Fresh Fruit

Dinner:              Roast Chicken, Carrots and Cabbage

 

Day 7

Breakfast:       2 Scrambled Eggs and Tomatoes

Lunch:              2 Poached Eggs and Spinach

Dinner:             Grilled Steak and Salad

Special Notes:

  • Refrain from all foods not included above
  • No substitutes allowed
  • Eat only what is shown or do without
  • No eating between meals
  • No alcoholic drinks, milk, butter, oil or fat

    Hello

    I’ve started this diet today and I have a question on how much black tea I can drink a day? It lists the drinks you can have but at the bottom after tap water it says unlimited in brackets. Is this unlimited on just tap water or for all the drinks listed? I’m on my fourth cup of black tea today and I won’t have any more but just suddenly thought is that too much?

    I don’t have scales at home so will not know exactly how much I have lost. Can anyone tell me if the weight loss effect your physical appearance a lot in the frst week? I know a lot of the wieght will be water retention so I am interested to see how many inches I lose.

    Hey,

    I did this diet for 5 and a half days (I went to a party on the Saturday night and ate sandwiches and drank lots!). I stuck to it quite well, apart from I had a bit of skimmed milk in my coffee every morning and I substituted the lamb for steak.

    I’m 5ft 3inch tall. I started at 12stone 1lbs, and lost 7lbs in the week! I lost an inch around my waist.

    It’s a great diet

    Ohhh Guys…. just finished day 4 hardest one yet really hungry as very little to eat day 4 was cooking fajitas for kids and did try some 2 slice of mushroom in smoky fajita sauce not even a thimble full bet felt so guilty.

    Weighed in today at start of day 5 lost 11.5lbs 5lbs after day 1, 3lbs after day 2, 2lbs after day 3, 1.5lbs after day 4 hope to make to day 6 unscathed …. wishe me luck :)

    Hi All started this diet on Monday morning at 20st 10lbs morning of day 3 so 2 days on the diet and have lost 8Lbs with 5 days to go drinking 5 litres of water a day to stave hunger off, Hope to get the full stone off, am sticking to it ridgidly.

    hey, I’m on day 6 of this diet now and I done so much better than I expected!     I didn’t know the only salad I was allowed to have was lettuce, tomatoes and celery only, so one night I had cabbage and radish, and another I had beetroot salad. Also, I thought salt was allowed so I dressed my salads with lemon juice and salt. I don’t like boiled egg so instead I had hard boiled egg. Are all these “mistakes” going to affect the end result of my diet? Such a shame I didn’t know those rules, I have been struggling to keep going with this diet and can’t believe I have ruined the results. I am on day 3 by the way. Thanks

    new to this diet and trying on day 5, I have had grapefruit with gin at least on 2 or 3 occasions during, will this have a huge negative impact on this plan?? I have abstained from any dairy products and religiously stuck to the food recommended apart from the alcohol, please do advise me if I should give it another fresh start without any alocohol. Not a huge exercise fanatic either as I work alot of hours.
